Ubisoftis constantly developing new video game projects, with a number of works already confirmed to be on the way. Some of these games have been announced for quite some time with seemingly no release date in sight, like pirate game Skull & Bones, but the latest information suggests that the long-awaited game will release at some point between April 2022 and April 2023.
This is according to a recent conference call, where Ubisoft has confirmed that it plans on releasing Skull & Bones in the April 2022 to April 2023 window, along with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. There are «more exciting games» that Ubisoft plans to release in that timeframe as well, though specifics as to what exactly those other games are have not been revealed at the time of this writing.
A Better Ubisoft Campaign Says Company Still Hasn't Met Demands
Skull & Bones development has reportedly been quite rocky behind the scenes, with the game lacking focus and undergoing numerous changes during the development process. However, if Ubisoft truly believes that Skull & Bones will be out by April 2023, then it seems like the game may finally be on track. If so, fans should expect to see it again within the next year, perhaps as early as Ubisoft's E3 2022 press conference, though that's just speculation at this time.
As for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, both those games were previously announced for 2022 releases, so fans should expect them by the end of the year, barring any delays. Skull & Bones could very well launch in 2022 as well, but it may be more likely to see it drop in 2023. Fans will just have to wait for more clarification on that front.
