Narcissa Wright, a streamer known for Legend of Zelda speedruns, has had her Twitch account unbanned despite recently threatening violence again the company's headquarters. While initially finding fame by streaming speedruns, in recent years Narcissa has focused more on Super Smash Bros. content. While many Twitch streamers have been banned for behavior on stream, many feel that Narcissa's reaction to a recent ban should result in a more serious punishment.
Throughout the history of the live streaming service, Twitch has banned many streamers for behavior both on and off stream. The platform has been embroiled in an infamous ongoing feud with Dr Disrespect, a beloved streamer who specializes in battle royale shooters. The popular gamer was permanently banned from Twitch back in June 2020, leading Disrespect to transition onto YouTube. ASMR streamer Amouranth was mysteriously banned from Twitch last year, too, while a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive streamer was recently banned for allegedly shaving himself on stream. Chess grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura got a Twitch ban recently, too, after using the platform to stream Dr Disrespect playing chess with fellow streamer Dr Lupo.

Esports commentator and Twitter user Jake Lucky recently revealed that Narcissa Wright will be allowed back on Twitch. The streamer was permanently banned from the platform on March 21, and afterwards she posted a threat on Twitter which read, "I want to kill myself and shoot people at the twitch HQ!"
