A Twitch streamer is currently attempting to complete Elden Ring using a method that makes it harder than it already is; namely, they are using the controller for Ring Fit Adventure on Nintendo Switch. Elden Ring is a difficult game under the best of circumstances, due in no small part to developer From Software's notoriously difficult combat.
Ring Fit Adventure is a fitness game that uses the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Cons with the Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories. The Ring-Con is a pilates ring with a holder for the Joy-Con, while the Leg Strap is just a velcro strap with a pocket that can hold the other Joy-Con. The Leg Strap is used to detect the motion of the legs, while the gyro controls in the Ring-Con can be used to interact with the game world and perform physical exercises at the same time. This kind of setup has led to players adapting the Ring Fit Adventure controls for different games, as it's easy enough to hook up the Joy-Cons to a PC. There are Breath of the Wild Ring-Con control runs out there, for those brave enough to literally run across Hyrule.

The Ring-Con is now being used to make Elden Ring even more difficult than it already is by integrating physical fitness into the game's grueling combat. Twitch streamer SuperLouis64 is currently playing Elden Ring using the Ring Fit Adventure controller. As of the time of writing, SuperLouis64 has defeated Margit the Fell Omen, who is one of the trickier early bosses in Elden Ring. SuperLouis64 has discussed the control method in more detail in a clip on the SuperLouis_64 Twitter page.
