The popular Twitch streamer GreekGodx was recently the subject of just such a controversy, receiving a ban from the site that left many wanting to know more. Despite the streamer himself giving an answer as to why he was banned, many have speculated whether other recent controversies involving GreekGodx may have influenced the decision by Twitch.
Twitch Banned User Lists May Be Shared With Other Streamers
GreekGodx technically started his streaming career when he began «stream sniping» the likes of popular Twitch streamers Sodapoppin and Tyler1. He developed such an on-stream chemistry with Tyler1 that Greek would go on to become a core facet of Tyler's streams, with the two essentially being a double act that would stream variety games together on Tyler's channel.
Understandably, Greek began to develop his own fan base as a result of this, being seen as the relatable and comedic «funnyman» to counter Tyler's angry on-screen persona. Greek began steaming more consistently on his own channel when Tyler1 got unbanned from League of Legends in early 2018. Retaining the audience he had developed from Tyler's streams, Greek found success independently, primarily by streaming the process of his remarkable weight-loss journey.
