The Hulu action movie The Princess offers a lean and violent thriller that culminates in an epic final act. The Princess uses a minimalist plot filled with action. Prior to the beginning of the movie, the princess protagonist storms out of her wedding to Julius, which is designed to provide the kingdom with a clear heir. This leads to her being imprisoned at the top of the castle, which she has to fight her way through. Since being released on Hulu, The Princess has received positive reviews for its action scenes and strong performances.

As the movie nears its ending, the title character of The Princess, played by Joey King, is captured by Julius.
