Twitch Streamer Asmongold Says He Had a Mid-Life Crisis
Few streamers on Twitch are as popular as Asmongold. Over the past year, the content creator, known for his MMORPG-focused broadcasts of games like World of Warcraft, has managed to rake in thousands of viewers on a consistent basis when going live. However, many fans of Asmongold have likely noticed that he recently took another extended break from streaming.
Over the past couple of weeks,Asmongold has not streamed on his main Twitch channel. While he has popped in on his secondary channel occasionally, his lack of appearances has caused some fans to wonder what is going on. Fortunately, Asmongold gave an update to his fans on Twitter in a July 25 message. However, the streamer recently gave some additional context for his recent hiatus from his regular streaming schedule.

In a recent YouTube video, Asmongold detailed some of the problems he has been dealing with of late that have caused him not to stream. Among the complications he had been facing, his old car had broken down and needed repairs that he noted cost him over $2,500. The situation with his car was so bad that he described it as “one step away from the junkyard.” To make matters worse, he then had to walk several miles in weather that he described as “110 degrees” because he was concerned when his sick father failed to answer his phone calls. However, these were not the only problems Asmongold detailed in his recent YouTube video.
