While promoting the upcoming release of the Uncharted movie, actor Tom Holland has revealed that he also has interest in bringing Jak and Daxter to the big screen. While it remains to be seen if a Jak and Daxter movie would ever happen, his pitch is certainly intriguing.
Tom Holland has had an eventful few months, as Spider-Man: No Way Home has been breaking several records and Uncharted is just weeks away from making its debut. As expected, he has been being interviewed heavily, with many of the questions being about these two movies. However, given that his upcoming film is based on a video game, it is not surprising that some of these questions have been video game related as well.

While this has led to Holland listing some of his favorite games, which include Marvel’s Spider-Man and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, he was also asked by GameSpot what game he would like to adapt into a movie if he was given the chance to make anything he wanted. Jak and Daxter was Holland’s answer, with the popular actor having interest in playing the lead role of Jak. With the original game featuring a young version of Jak, it is easy to imagine Holland fitting into the role well, and it would be interesting to see who would play Daxter alongside him.
As for the specifics of the film, Holland would want it to be in live action, which could certainly work for Jak and Daxter. He also would like the studio behind the movie to be A24, which is responsible for unique films like Hereditary and The Lighthouse.
