The release of the Uncharted movie means another Fortnite crossover, but gamer purists can still enjoy the Nolan North Nathan Drake.
Even if Epic Games hadn’t offered a special treasure hunt for fans to uncover, the Fortnite and Uncharted crossover was practically inevitable thanks to the release of the big budget movie adaptation of Naughty Dog’s adventure series.
Epic Games has now publicly revealed the collaboration to all, which unsurprisingly means several new skins based on Uncharted characters are now available in Fortnite.
This makes it Tom Holland’s second Fortnite cameo, following Spider-Man’s inclusion at the beginning of Chapter 3, with him swapping his superhero suit for the treasure hunter garbs he wears as protagonist Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie.
He is joined by the movie’s version of Chloe Frazer as well, who is played by Sophia Ali. She also comes with an alternate skin that has her remove her jacket. Surprisingly, Mark Wahlberg as Sully, Nathan’s partner in crime, isn’t included.
However, it would be sacrilege to not add the original versions of Nathan and Chloe from the original games. As such, you can play as their in-game appearances instead, although the lack of any talking means Nolan North and Claudia Black aren’t back to reprise their roles.
The collaboration doesn’t end there. Starting from today at 3pm GMT, you’ll be able to find treasure maps that lead you to buried loot, which you can dig up with your pickaxe. The maps will be available until the current season ends on March 19.
