Titans season 4 is finally in production as one of the show's writer-producers celebrates the first day of filming. While HBO Max hasn't set their release date yet for the series, Titans will get a new slate of episodes sometime later this year. Season 3, which wrapped its run last fall, saw the heroes relocate from San Francisco to Gotham City. With the move to Batman's city, the Titans had to deal with a personal threat as Jason Todd ditched the Robin mantle and became Red Hood before being revealed to be working with Jonathan Crane, a.k.a. the Scarecrow.
After the major war against Scarecrow, Titans season 4 will be going in a different direction with the introduction of some major Teen Titans foes. The Originals star Joseph Morgan was recently named a series regular to officially portray Sebastian Blood, a.k.a. Brother Blood. Sebastian won't be alone, though, with Claws' Franka Potente set to play May Bennett, better known to comic fans as Mother Mayhem. There have also been rumors that the DC drama is looking to add Lex Luthor in some capacity, likely as a foe to Superboy.
