To start Raider of the Lost Shark, players must travel to the Dumpstat Trench fast travel point in Wargtooth Shallows. Once the player arrives at Dumpstat Trench, they'll need to open up their map and locate Joyful Roy, who'll give them the quest.

Throughout the quest, players will need to fight several Breachers, Dogfishes, and Titantooths, all of which can burrow through the ground, making them difficult to defeat. The Clawbringer's Cleansing Flames is the perfect class for this area since it's a powerful AOE action skill.

Joyful Roy tasks the player to find his lost pearls, the first of which can be found in a chest near what remains of the ship Carole Anne.
