Techland will be delisting Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s Ultimate Edition from the PS Store on 30th September. Why? Well, because when the package was originally announced, the Polish developer promised it’d bundle in an upcoming DLC pack. That’s ultimately evolved into Dying Light: The Beast, a fully-fledged standalone game similar to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
30-minute Gamescom demo detailed
Considering we’re expecting Dying Light: The Beast to cost more than your average DLC pack, we understand the studio’s decision. Of course, don’t worry if you already bought the Ultimate Edition for Dying Light 2, as you’ll still get access to the new game as part of your purchase. Similarly, if you want to get some good value, you still have until 30th September to grab the big bundle.
In fact, the Ultimate Edition is on sale until 28th August, so you can get everything for just $62.99/£52.49 right now. If you already own the standard version of Dying Light 2, then an Ultimate Edition Upgrade pack is also available for $39.99/£28.99 – and it’s probably safe to assume that will be cheaper than The Beast, too.

Dang. I feel like it’s been cheaper but I’m excited for The Beast so I’m gonna have to buy this today
Are they replacing it for a version without the new game?
Techland always deliver! Bought the upgrade! Thx for the article!
I understand why they are delisting it and going to relaunch it so to speak in this case, but it's not surprising that it will have several editions by the end of it all like Dying Light did. Wouldn't surprise me if they released another Ultimate Ultimate Edition someday too with The Beast back in it.
Yes, I will likely
