The Redmi Note 11 Pro from China came to India as the Xiaomi 11i series and we all wondered how the Indian variant will differ. No more need for imagining as the Redmi Note 11 Pro models have leaked just ahead of the global announcement. Similar to previous years, there will be two models as part of the Pro series – a Redmi Note 11 Pro and a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Today’s leak also revealed most of the specifications and features.
Xiaomi is finally bringing 5G to the Redmi Note series but seems to be restricting it to the top-end model. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is said to rely on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, which could most likely be the Snapdragon 695 that powers the Moto G71. Rumours also suggest the possibility of a Snapdragon 700 tier 5G chip.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G variant is likely to use the MediaTek Helio G96 chip. Both the Pro models will get a quad camera setup on the rear, with the main camera having a 108MP sensor (a staple with midrange Xiaomi phones these days). Both phones will run on a 5000mAh battery and both will come with 67W chargers. However, the phones will support up to 120W charging speeds.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G are also said to come with a 6.67-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. No other details are available at the moment, including the expected prices.
The leak also accompanies the official renders of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. In line with the teaser poster posted by Redmi India, the phones resemble the Xiaomi 11i models.
