Hot on the heels of the most recent update in May, appears to be gearing up for another major announcement if its Steam listing is anything to go by. Bethesda's massive sci-fi RPG may have been in players hands for just shy of a year now but that doesn't mean the community has given up hope that the studio has further plans for the game. Bethesda has previously promised that it's working on some major updates and mechanics and those features may drop much sooner than expected.
Over on Reddit, user JarusinTheStars noted that 's SteamDB page has recently been flooded by changes, the most that the game has ever experienced since it launched.
Bethesda has pushed out over 100 changes to the game's Steam listing in less than a month; to place that into perspective, 100 changes were released between March and May, meaning the speed of these updates has grown exponentially. The previous influx of SteamDB changes heralded the launch of the May update, so it seems fair to speculate that another major patch or potentially even the DLC could be revealed soon.
Starfield's May update changes the game in a lot of ways, but one of the best can only be found by examining all the options available.
While nothing has yet been confirmed, it would make sense that Bethesda is gearing up to either drop a major content update or reveal some more information on Microsoft is confirmed to be hosting an Xbox Showcase on June 9 and while the actual announcements are still largely under wraps, it's certainly possible that could take a great deal of the spotlight alongside the next. Whether or not that turns out to be true remains to be seen, but all those changes to the SteamDB listing are certainly an indication that something is happening.
