As progresses and sees more updates to both help and harm Helldivers, the Automatons may be about to unleash the worst enemy yet. already has a handful of powerful enemies in both factions, like the Bile Titan or Hulk that strike fear in the hearts of players. The Automatons are suspected of being Cyborgs who were able to escape Super Earth and then fully convert to robots while creating their massive army. Now their apparent goal is to free their brethren trapped on Cyberstan and, in the process, possibly release the worst unit yet into their ranks.
One enemy expected to be released by this liberation effort is the Hound, a Cyborg enemy type from the original game. Hounds in were small robotic dogs that spawned in swarms. They were equipped with light armor and were easy to kill. However, they do a considerable amount of damage and could perform a charging attack that would knock a Helldiver prone, leaving it to be an easy kill for others. Hounds were also the fastest enemy unit and experts at tracking signs of Helldiver activity.
