With over a decade under its belt, The Walking Dead will come to a close this year with its 11th and final season. A new trailer has been released for the hit AMC series and in it, the group comes face to face with a brand-new threat.
This portion of The Walking Dead is derived from The Rotton Core, the 31st volume of the comics that inspired the zombie series. It centers around the group’s exploration of The Commonwealth and their governor, who will be played by Laila Robins. The first official glimpse of Robins in the role of Pamela Milton appears in the latest Walking Dead trailer.

The new trailer for The Walking Dead provides an updated glimpse of some series fan favorites. Early on, there is a glimpse of Daryl, Maggie, Aaron, Carol, and Judith creeping through the apocalypse. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan is also spotted in the trailer, continuing to push the buttons of various group members, particularly Maggie. With internal conflicts still brewing, the group is forced to put them aside as an impending group of stormtroopers approaches their gates on horseback. The trailer eventually provides an inside look at Pamela Milton, as she gives an oddly inspiring and intimidating speech, vowing that The Commonwealth looks to put “the world back together the way it was.”
The Walking Dead trailer continues to show Daryl, Maggie, Carol, Aaron, and many other members across their long list of allies fighting Walkers or exploring the eerily perfect world that exists within The Commonwealth.
