Warning: major spoilers ahead for Crossover #11!
While the Marvel and DC universes typically don't interact with The Walking Dead due to all the properties being owned by different comic publishers, the Skybound series is causing major problems for both of the Big Two. Crossover #11 from Image Comics has revealed who is behind the recent murders of several comic creators. Fans of The Walking Dead will be all too familiar with the culprit.
Crossover began publishing in 2020. This very ambitious (and very meta) story centers around the emergence of the worlds of comics into the real world. Numerous characters from comics and other properties, as well as an assortment of real-life comic creators, have appeared within its pages. However, comic creators have run into a very big problem in the most recent arc of this series.

Crossover #11 has the creative team of Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Dee Cunniffe, and John J. Hill. Within the series, comic writers are being killed by an unknown person. Scott Snyder and Brian K. Vaughan are among the big names who have died. Snyder was killed outside of a theater showing The Mask of Zorro, with the murder weapon being a Batarang — one of Batman's signature tools. Ironically, the murderer has his own signature weapon. The end of Crossover #11 reveals The Walking Dead's Negan as the serial killer, and he appears in the closing page with his bloodied, wired bat Lucille.
