Cowboy Bebop's Daniella Pineda is the most recent addition to the Tales of the Walking Dead cast. This series is the newest spinoff to be added to the Walking Dead Franchise. The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic series following a group of survivors led by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) after he awakens from a coma a month after the world is overrun by walkers (zombies). It is based on a comic series of the same name that ended in 2019. This apocalyptic horror will be following in the comic's footsteps as it finishes its 11-season run later this year, leaving behind several spinoff shows and games based on the same comic series.
Tales of the Walking Dead was announced back in 2020, with slow development since then. It's set to be an anthology series, exploring new and old characters, telling as of yet untold stories from across the entire Walking Dead TV franchise. It is even suggested that some episodes may revolve around previously deceased characters. Executive producer of The Walking Dead, Scott M. Gimple, has been very open when discussing the series' future, teasing animated and musical episodes.

According to Variety, Pineda has just been added to the cast list for Tales of the Walking Dead. Pineda is most known for her most recent performance as Faye Valentine in Netflix's Cowboy Bebop adaptation. Who exactly she will be playing is currently undisclosed, similar to every previous casting announcement for the series, whose character-specific details have all been kept secret. As of right now, it's also unclear if these characters will feature in the same episode or separately.
