The showrunner of The Umbrella Academy reveals he already has a plan in place for the end of the series. The popular Netflix superhero series, which premiered on the streaming service in February 2019, is based on the graphic novels of the same name by illustrator Gabriel Bá and writer Gerard Way, who is best known as the frontman for the emo band My Chemical Romance. While the series has not officially been renewed beyond this, the future is looking bright, and the creators are hopeful that The Umbrella Academy season 4 will be announced soon.
