Simply put, your Fated Mate is your one true werewolf love. Your Mate is chosen by destiny itself - in other words, it's chosen randomly - and you will only ever be assigned one Fated Mate in your werewolf Sim's entire lifespan.
More information on this adorable addition to the romance mechanics of The Sims can be found if you have the Scavenger ability unlocked in your werewolf skill tree. With Scavenger equipped, your Sim will be able to dig up The Diary of Greggorius Lunvik anywhere in Moonwood Mill.
A quick flick through the tome will reveal valuable lore and secrets pertaining to the town's fur-clad denizens, including details on how the now-jaded and exiled author of the diary once had his own Fated Mate, Avelina.
If your werewolf Sim is happily shacked up with a non-werewolf already, you don't need to worry. As long as your wolf Sim does not go flirting with every member of their Pack, they will unlikely be swayed away from their partner's side by the tempting hand of fate.
