John Krasinki has fond memories of directing Christian Slater's bizarre cameo in The Office season 6. After becoming something of a sensation after premiering on NBC in 2005, The Office ultimately ran for nine seasons before coming to a close in 2013. The show introduced audiences to Steve Carell's loveable but childlike Dunder Mifflin boss, Michael Scott, Krasinski's Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer's Pam Beesly, and Rainn Wilson's Dwight Schrute. Although later seasons of the show were less warmly received, in season 6, The Office was thriving.
The Office season 6 saw Dunder Mifflin undergo some pretty major changes, including being bought out by Florida-based printer company Sabre.
