Jackie Chan's Asian Hawk series is beloved by martial arts audiences and here's how the movies rank from worst to best. Over the course of Jackie Chan's very extended career, his filmography has taken him on many adventures, but Chan's Indiana Jones-influenced Asian Hawk films have done that more than any of his other series. Beginning with 1986's Armour of God, Chan starred as his eponymous adventurer and treasure-seeking hero Jackie Chan, a.k.a. the Asian Hawk, and he brought his trademark mix of comedic action, stunts, and martial arts to the role.
Chan returned to the role with the 1991 sequel Armour of God II: Operation Condor with the adventure taking him deep into the sands of Northern Africa. Chan would eventually revisit the Asian Hawk template one more time with his 2012 adventure comedy Chinese Zodiac. Though Chan was getting older by then and had a laundry list of injuries from the course of his career, he continued to deliver on the martial arts movie fights and stunt work with a comedic twist that made him a star around the world.
