Star Wars and Marvel Comics have just announced that The Mandalorian will finally be getting its own comic book adaptation. Featuring the dawn of Din Djarin's journey with the child Grogu (aka Baby Yoda), this new comic series will be a whole new way for Star Wars fans to experience the Disney+ show. Featuring an all-star creative team, Marvel's comic adaptation will no doubt be a must-have for Mando fans.
Taking place in the years following Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian focuses on the bounty hunter Din Djarin, a warrior belonging to the Mandalorian clan known as the Children of the Watch. Accepting a job from a group of Imperials despite the rise of the New Republic, Djarin finds himself rescuing a child whose name he would later learn to be Grogu. What follows is an epic adventure spanning the galaxy which sees Djrain doing all he can to protect the child while remnants of the Empire led by Moff Gideon seek to reclaim their prize.

According to the announcement from StarWars.com, The Mandalorian's exciting new comic book adaptation will be written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Georges Jeanty. They also confirmed that the series will be eight issues long (one issue for each episode of The Mandalorian's first season). While each issue will also have several different variant covers available,the main cover art for The Mandalorian #1was revealed (coming from artist Adi Granov):
