Marvel's Gwenpool is Finally Getting The Omnibus She Deserves
Readers who enjoyed the Marvel Universe's biggest fangirl, Gwenpool, are about to be able to read all of her crazy adventures in one convenient location. Spinning out into her own book in 2016, the series The Unbelievable Gwenpool lasted for 25 issues before the story of the beloved mercenary came to an end. Now, with the publication of a new omnibus, fans have the opportunity to check out virtually all of Gwenpool's outlandish escapades.
In June 2015, Marvel created a slew of variant covers with Gwen Stacy reimagined as other Marvel characters. Fans gravitated to the Gwen-inspired Deadpool design by Chris Bachalo for Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #2 so much that she was later fleshed out by Christopher Hastings, Heather Antos and Jordan D. White in a backup story in Howard the Duck. Hailing from the «real world,» Marvel comic fangirl Gwendolyn Poole crosses over to the 616 Marvel Universe and lives out the dream of every geek by going on adventures and meeting her favorite heroes.

While the series' trades have become more expensive on the secondhand market, fans will have a new opportunity to read Gwenpool's in a much easier manner. In an announcement sponsored by Marvel on the YouTube channel Near Mint Condition, Omar Valdivieso revealed that a Gwenpool omnibus is being set for release in November 2022. Not only will the omnibus collect the entire run of The Unbelievable Gwenpool, but her appearances in other titles such as West Coast Avengers, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, and Gwenpool Strikes Back. It will also feature several of her one-shot specials, as well as her original back-up from Howard the Duck.
