Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man takes the franchise all the way back to the beginning, where 11 origins of the Kingsman agency are revealed. The King’s Man is a prequel to 2015’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, telling the story of how Kingsman’s spy ring was formed amidst World War I’s international mayhem. The King’s Man’s Rasputin character serves as a villain more similar to the likes of Richmond Valentine and Poppy Adams, but his role is much smaller than the true mastermind behind the Kingsman agency’s first antagonist. Since the beginning, Kingsman spies have been taking down some of the most ridiculous international terrorists.
