Netflix has officially released the full trailer for its upcoming series Vikings: Valhalla, a spinoff from the renowned History Channel and Amazon Prime series Vikings. The wait, however, won't be prolonged as the newest addition to the franchise will make its long-awaited appearance on Netflix this month.
Netflix's Vikings: Valhalla is an adventure situated a thousand years into the past, taking place more than one hundred years after the events of the Vikings series. The narrative will chronicle the experiences of some of the most famous Vikings ever to live, such as explorer Leif Eriksson, his impulsive sister Freydis Eriksdotter, and Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson. The tension between the Vikings and English royals will reach a severe boiling point in the series, leading to turbulent war as the three notable Vikings begin an epic journey across the ocean, fighting for survival and honor.

The Vikings: Valhalla trailer opens with Leif Eriksson, played by Sam Corlett, and his Greenland crew at sea wrestling with a vicious storm as they make their way to Kattegat, which was the capital city of Ragnar's kingdom from the Vikings series. The existence of the aggressive English king threatens the entire North, which prompts Eriksson to join the fight against England, alongside Harald Sigurdsson, played by Leo Suter. The trailer quickly introduces several other notable Viking and English characters, each looking to add something unique to the journey. «Witness the rise of the Vikings who will become legends» are the words shown across the screen, juxtaposed with scenes riddled with chaos, bloodshed, and war.
