Actor Paul Walker, best known for playing Brian O'Connor in the Fast and Furious franchise, will have his name posthumously added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame along with several other big-name actors.
Walker rose to fame playing police officer turned street racer Brian O'Connor in the Fast and Furiousmovies alongside franchise stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. Walker was tragically killed in a car accident in 2013, which occurred separately from but while he was still involved in the production of the seventh Fast and Furious movie.

The selection was confirmed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Friday. Along with Walker, the late singer Jenni Rivera will also receive a star. Walker's star will be affixed in 2023, along with his Fast and Furious co-star Christopher ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and actors Uma Thurman, Bill Pullman, Vince Vaughn, John Waters, Jon Favreau, Mindy Kaling, Martin Lawrence, Ralph Macchio, Garrett Morris, and Ellen Pompeo. «The Selection Panel, made up of fellow Walk of Famers, hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” said Chairwoman and Walk of Fame star recipient, Ellen K. “The panel thoughtfully selected these talented individuals, and we can’t wait to celebrate them as they become part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”
