Paramount's next A Quiet Place movie has lost its director. Sources told Deadline that Jeff Nichols (Mud, Midnight Special) has dropped out of the film. The split was described as amicable.
The site's sources said Nichols is now shifting his focus to an untitled sci-fi movie, which he is developing with Paramount, so the film studio is keeping the director on board in another capacity. The studio is «very high on» this new film, the report said.
