Although many players make fun of Dontnod Entertainment’s games for their writing, they undeniably hold a great deal of significance in the gaming landscape. Tell Me Why follows the story of Tyler and Alyson Ronan, two twins who share a supernatural bond. They utilize this bond to delve deeper into their shared past and attempt to uncover the truth behind the discomforting memories that continue to haunt them.
As players progress through the story, they will have to make a number of choices that will impact the twins’ relationship and, naturally, the outcome of the ending. The Steam page notes that the developers have “conducted on-the-ground research and partnered closely with cultural, mental health and gender advocates to craft a thoughtful, true-to-life experience.”
