Tekken 8 has been revealed during the September State of Play, with a gameplay trailer of Jin and Kazuya fighting in the rain.
Earlier in the year, Bandai Namco teased that a new Tekken game was in development by showing a shot of surprisingly high-quality shot of Kazuya at the end of a Tekken 7 tournament at EVO. Although it wasn't confirmed to be Tekken 8 at the time, it was clearly hinting at the eighth game in the series.

Now as part of the September State of Play, the showcase was started by revealing that Tekken 8 is indeed real and is currently in development. It was revealed through a short gameplay demo that showed Jin and Kazuya fighting on the cliffside in the rain.
Sadly, although we now at least know that Tekken 8 is in development, we don't have any ideas on when we might expect to see Tekken 8 next as there was no release window or date given.
