Tata Neu app is coming to take on the likes of Amazon, Jio and Google. New is a new on-stop mobile app made by Tata Digital that will enable shopping and payments under a single roof. The app will be made available to the public on April 7 and will be present on both Android and iOS. The Neu app is currently under testing for employees of the Tata Group at the moment.
“Tata Neu is a unified platform that connects several brands across the Tata universe like never before. Designed to be a super-app, Tata Neu offers everything from daily grocery, electronics, finance solutions, flights, holidays, and more,” says the description on Tata Digital’s website.
“Each brand on Tata Neu is connected by a common reward called NeuCoins, which can be earned across all brands online and at physical locations and can be used similarly as well. Explorers on Tata Neu will be treated to unbeatable offers from AirAsia India, bigbasket, Croma, Tata CLiQ, IHCL, Westside and more,” adds the description.
In essence, you will be able to do regular utilitarian things via all of Tata group’s service from the Tata Neu app. “Track and conveniently pay your electricity, mobile, DTH, broadband bills, recharges and more, all in one go,” says the listing. The app listing on Google Play also states that users will be able to pay utility bills in online and -in-store purchases using the in-built Tata Pay. “Scan and pay via QR code at any merchant of your choice. Be it local stores, theatres, chemists or any store, scan every QR code and transact with Tata Pay UPI,” says the listing.
