Netflix's Tall Girl 2 returns to the world of Ruby Bridges High with several new characters and a returning core cast. Original Tall Girl writer Sam Wolfson also returns to pen the Netflix sequel, while there is a change in the director's seat, with A Year and Change producer Emily Ting helming the Tall Girl 2 production. First released on February 11th, 2022, Tall Girl 2 continues the story of its titular protagonist at Ruby Bridges High School. Following her rousing homecoming speech, eponymous "tall girl" Jody Kreyman (Ava Michelle) is enjoying her burgeoning popularity and newfound boyfriend earned by "standing tall."
