Screenshots and description details for a PS4 and PS5 remake of the 2010 PSP release of Tactics Ogre have recently been leaked by PS Deals, a PlayStation Store tracking website. Along with a description of the remake's features, the leak has also revealed the release date for the Square Enix remake.
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was originally released in 1995 for the SNES before being ported to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation. The second of five titles in theOgre Battle series of tactical role-playing games developed by Quest Corporation, the franchise is now owned by Square Enix. Tactics Ogre is perhaps most well known for inspiring the later FInal Fantasy Tactics by Square, which is widely considered to be one of the finest entries in the entire Final Fantasy franchise. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was eventually re-released by Square Enix in 2010 for the PSP.

The leaked details were revealed by PS Deals, a price tracking site that uses the PlayStation Network's backend to find thebest deals on PlayStation games. The game's listing on PS Deals is called Tactics Ogre: Reborn and has entries for both PS4 and PS5, with a November 11 release date. The remake will apparently feature numerous gameplay changes, notably a rework of its class system. Rather than management and progression being tied to classes, the game will use a unit-by-unit format similar to many modern tactics RPGs. The remake will feature improved AI, an auto-save feature, a quicker battle system, and an overhaul of the graphics, controls, and UI. The soundtrack has also been re-recorded with live instruments to replace the previously synthesized soundtrack.
