It has been announced at Tokyo Game Show 2022 that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be coming to Xbox Game Pass later today, September 15. As part of its pursuit of non-Western audiences, Xbox had announced that it would be making an appearance at this year's Tokyo Game Show, detailing that it would have one of the first major presentations at the event. As one of Japan's biggest gaming showcases, Xbox's appearance at Tokyo Game Show had many fans hyped to see what would be announced.
As an Xbox show, many were also expecting some big announcements for the company's subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. Initially unveiled back in 2017, Xbox Game Pass has consistently evolved since then, bringing new titles to its roster every month and increasing the amount of day one releases gamers can get their hands on at launch. Recently, Xbox Game Pass recently unveiled its Friends and Family plan, which allows up to five gamers to access its library through one payment method.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey released first in 2018, taking fans on a journey in Ancient Greece, set even before Assassin's Creed Origins. Allowing exploration on foot, horseback, and through the oceans surrounding Greece, players taking on the role of either Cassandra or Alexios were in for an epic adventure. It was announced late into Xbox's Tokyo Game Show presentation that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be coming to Game Pass, with fans able to access it later today, September 15.
