Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Superman and Lois season 1 and Earth-Prime#2.
The second issue of the Arrowverse tie-in comic Earth-Prime tells the tale of just how the Evil Superman of an alternate Earth from Superman and Lois season 1 came to turn upon humanity.
The Evil Superman was a shadowy presence in Superman and Lois season 1, with a man dubbed the Stranger claiming to have come from another Earth where Superman went mad with power under circumstances that seemed likely to repeat themselves soon on Earth-Prime. Nevertheless, some Super-fans did wonder how it was possible for any version of Superman to wind up leading an army of angry Kryptonian personalities in human bodies in a battle against Earth.
