Warning: spoilers for DC vs. Vampires #6 ahead!
As darkness continues to spread throughout the DC Universe, Supergirl and Green Arrow are the last remnants of the Justice League, and possibly the last hope to stop the Vampire King, the fallen Gotham Hero Nightwing.
DC vs. Vampires shows a familiar world where beloved heroes are either being killed by or turned into the undead, at the behest of Nightwing, the recently revealed leader of the vampires. Both heroes and villains have fallen to the new threat and the number of characters that haven't been converted is rapidly dwindling. The Flash, Superman and even Batman have all gone up against their newly vampiric comrades and lost, and it appears that the Vampire King has won with so many of the Justice League's heaviest hitters either dead or a part of his ranks.

Guillem March's recently revealed cover for DC vs. Vampires #7 shows Supergirl and Green Arrow taking shelter as an army of ghouls is hot on their heels. Ollie is wielding his trusty bow, quiver no doubt full of trick arrows made to take down the undead. Supergirl hefts a sword, indicating the world of darkness is impeding Kara's Kryptonian abilities. The two heroes are bloodied and bruised, but thankfully they've got another hero on their side as the issue's solicitation mentions Batgirl is aiding the two as they embark on a mission to save the world.
