DC fans will have to wait at least another year until they are able to take on the Justice League in the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Following the announcement of its delay, news surrounding the highly anticipated game has all but disappeared, as other WB games like Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy have stepped into the limelight. This is far from a bad thing, however; for such an ambitious project that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is promising, having the developers take more time often means a more refined game.
Another big reason why Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice going dark is not a bad thing for WB Games is it allows the publisher to focus more on other games that are scheduled to release earlier. WB Games has three other major projects that are currently under development alongside the Suicide Squad game. These games are equally ambitious and thus, need the same time and effort to ensure that they are released as completed games.

WB Games’ second upcoming DC Comics game, Gotham Knights, will feature the Bat-Family as they learn to live in a Gotham City without Batman. This game will heavily feature team-based combat within a setting that seems similar to the Arkham series. This will mean that the developers will need to ensure that not only combat, but also exploration and characterization, are highly refined so that the game can usher in a new series for WB Games.
