This article contains potential spoilers for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Details surrounding the highly anticipated game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League suggest that players could be in for a blood-spattered adrenaline-fueled gore fest after the game was given an M18 rating.
The rating comes from IMDA, the board responsible for determining the appropriate audience for media in Singapore. The report gives further information on the gameplay itself as well as plot elements from the game, describing a few examples that contributed to the decision to give the game its rating.
The details on IMDA seem to support an earlier plot leak in January that described the deaths of The Flash and Batman. The leak stated that Captain Boomerang decapitates The Flash with his Boomerang, and the weapon then lodges in Batman’s neck. It sounds very similar to what’s described in IMDA’s report.
Many fans are still on the fence about whether the IMDb age rating actually confirms the leaks, with many waiting until the State of Play tomorrow before making a judgment. State of Play is the Sony livestream event in which upcoming games are showcased.
Others have sworn not to play the game if the deaths in the game actually happen, (bear in mind this is supposed to be the same Batman from the Arkham games.) Whilst speculation about the plot suggests that the Justice League characters being killed in the game could be evil clones or that The Flash could alter the timeline (with no head apparently).
Regardless of whether the leaks are true or not, it sounds like the game is going to be a bloodfest and, with any luck, the game will live up to the high standards set by the Arkham games.
