The upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has officially been delayed out of 2022, receiving a hefty push-back. Batman: Arkham series developer Rocksteady’s latest DC-based game was announced during the first DC Fandome livestream in 2020, and will put players in the role of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang as they are tasked with hunting down the members of the Justice League after their minds are taken over by the evil Brainiac during the events of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.

Rocksteady co-founder and creative director Sefton Hill has announced that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed until Spring 2023 on his Twitter page earlier this morning, March 23. He states that the decision to do this was “difficult,” but his team found it necessary to make sure that it produces the best game it possibly can. Hill ends his message by emphasizing with fans frustrated with the delay, and says that he looks forward to “bringing the chaos” to Metropolis when Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League does come out.
