A promo video for Oh! great's manga adaptation of NisiOisin's Monogatari Series light novels was released on Thursday to celebrate the release of the manga’s 16th volume.
Studio SHAFT – the studio behind theMonogatari Series anime adaptation – animated the promo video which was released on Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine’s official YouTube channel. The manga’s official Twitter account announced in December that the series would be entering its “final stage” this year.

NisiOisin’s Monogatari light novel series ran in Kodansha’s Mephisto, Pandora, and Bessatsu magazines from 2005-2021 in the Kodansha Box imprint, and features illustrations from Taiwanese illustrator Vofan. Studio Shaft adapted the light novel series into an anime from 2009-2019.
The Monogatari First Season anime, comprised of Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, and Nekomonogatari (Black), ran from 2009-2012. Monogatari Second Season aired from 2013-2014, consisting of the Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari, Onimonogatari, Koimonogatari, and Hanamonogatari arcs. A final season consisting of the Tsukimonogatari, Owarimonogatari I, Koyomimonogatari, Owarimonogatari II, and Zoku Owarimonogatari arcs aired from 2014-2019.
Shaft released a film trilogy adapting the Kizumonogatari arc from 2016-2017. The films were directed by longtime Monogatari series director Akiyuki Shinbo, and Bakemonogatari co-director Tatsuya Oishi.
Oh! great’s manga adaptation began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2018. The series has amassed 15 volumes throughout its run so far. Oh! great is best known for his Tenjho Tenge manga, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine
