A fan poster of Stranger Things season 4 imagines aHaunting of Hill House crossover. After three years, the popular 80's-themed science-fiction horror series returned to Netflix with a bang, overtaking Obi-Wan Kenobi's high streaming numbers with over 5 billion minutes of streaming time in the opening weekend. Stranger Things season 4 finds the rag-tag group of heroes separated and facing their own battles as another entity from the parallel dimension, the Upside-Down, threatens Hawkins, Indiana, and the world at large.
As the teenagers begin their spring break in 1986, the inter-dimensional telepathic being known as Vecna begins tormenting and killing his victims in a brutal fashion. As the heroes investigate the murders in an attempt to save their friend and Vecna's next victim, Max (Sadie Sink), they find out that the horrors began in the house of Victor Creel. Reminiscent of the classic haunted house stories, the kids enter the abandoned and dilapidated old Victorian home of Creel in search of any clues to save Max. One classic haunted house story was recently adapted for Netflix to great acclaim. Written and directed by Mike Flanagan, The Haunting of Hill House limited series is based on the classic 1959 Shirley Jackson gothic horror novel of the same name. The Haunting of Hill House thrilled audiences with a terrifying tale of one family's experiences with the paranormal in the titular home updated for modern times.
