Haley is one of the least popular NPCs in Stardew Valleydue to the fact that she comes off as rude when first spoken to. But, she'll become much more endearing the more you get to know her, and she starts to reveal her softer side.

Haley also isn't the easiest marriage candidate to romance, as her favorite gifts can be harder to find in the early game. But, like the rest, she's well worth the effort, because she's a kind and caring person once her icy exterior begins to thaw.

Haley is a younger character who seems to have just gotten out of high school. She is a picky girl who loves attention, especially when it's on her birthday. She doesn't have a job like many of the other NPCs, and Emily is her sister.
Haley is moderately active and can be a bit hard to keep track of, especially since she goes for walks in the middle of the day. Mostly, she's just at home, though.

Haley is a character with expensive taste, which can be frustrating, especially in the early parts of the game when you are strapped for cash. Most of her loves won't be available for quite some time in-game. It also can be frustrating as she doesn't have many likes, but she has a long list of dislikes that include pretty much all the items you produce on your farm. Luckily, once you repair the bus, you can get a ton of Coconuts from the Desert, which she loves.
