Auto Navigation is an important feature in Diablo Immortal. But using Auto Navigation has proven a finicky task. Sometimes the box appears to disappear and reappear at will. It'll show up when players don't want it on the screen and then disappear when it is needed. For optimal pathing in Diablo Immortal, here's how to use it consistently.
Most Auto Navigating will be done knocking out quests. Open up the quest bar on the left side, then tap the desired quest. On the screen, the character should either start immediately walking or opening up a portal. This will take them to a waypoint, after which point, the character should begin walking to the desired location.

Some missions make the characters move by player control. If this is the case, Auto Navigation is disabled, but yellow footsteps will tell the gamer where to go. Any movement or skill cast will knock the player out of Auto Navigation. Interrupting this movement is one of several small mistakes players make. To re-enable it, click on the compass icon in the center of the screen, to the right of the 'Navigation Paused' text.
