Although many eyes are no doubt on the upcoming remake of Knights of the Old Republic, developed by Aspyr, fans have likely noticed how several classicStar Wars games have been making their way to Switch. Aspyr brought the original Knights of the Old Republic to the Switch last year, released Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the Switch a couple of months ago, and has now ported Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 – The Sith Lords to the Switch.
As many know, Knights of the Old Republic 2 follows the events of the first game, placing players in the shoes of “The Exile.” After following Revan in the Mandalorian Wars, the player character lost their connection to the Force and, throughout the course of the game, rebuild it alongside new companions. Players set out to defeat three Sith Lords, who desire the complete destruction of the Jedi.

While Knights of the Old Republic 2 released in 2004, there’s no doubt many are excited to see it on the Switch. It’s a pretty good travel game, but many may also be wonderinghow long it takes to beat KOTOR 2. After all, those who haven’t played it in years may find it to be more substantial than they remember. They’ll travel to several Star Wars planets, play through segments set on certain starships and elsewhere, and find a great Star Wars game to occupy their time.
According to HowLongToBeat.com, focusing solely on the main story will take players about 31 hours. The average length for completing the main story, alongside some side content, pushes that number to 40 hours. Completing everything there is to do in Knights of the Old Republic 2 puts that number around 52 hours.
