Warning! Spoilers for Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca #2
Fans can finally see Han Solo and Chewbacca working for Jabba the Hutt, with Greedo at their side. Originally teased at the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Han’s origin story continues to elaborate on events referenced in the original trilogy.
Although the movies won’t follow up on Solo, fans can see where a sequel likely would have gone in the new upcoming comic series, Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca. As Qi’ra’s story with Crimson Dawn is told in Crimson Reign, Han’s smuggling days are being expanded upon. Their job for Jabba was practically the only thing left out of the film, but it will be explored in Han Solo & Chewbacca #2, written by Marc Guggenheim with art by David Messina and a cover by Phil Noto. The second issue features a variant cover by Adam Hughes, and a variant by Mike McKone.
