Molly Yeh, who hosts Spring Baking Championship and stars in her own cooking show Girl Meets Farm, has announced that she and her husband will open a new restaurant named after their daughter. In 2014, Molly married Nick Hagen, a fifth-generation farmer, and moved to East Grand Forks, Minnesota. On March 30, 2019, the Spring Baking Championship host Molly gave birth to their daughter, Bernadette Rosemary, nicknamed Bernie. Bernie is named after Nick's great-great grandfather Bernt who started the Hagen farm in 1876, and Molly's great-grandfather Bernard who emigrated from Hungary. On February 20, 2022, their second child, Ira Dorothy, was born.
Molly's show Girl Meets Farm has been a Food Network staple for nine seasons. On the show, Molly cooks from her and Nick's home and farm, on the North Dakota/Minnesota border. Molly says, «My food is a delicious mix of my Chinese and Jewish heritage and the taste of the Midwest.» In addition to Girl Meets Farm, she has also hosted Food Network shows such as Spring Baking Championship season 8 and the 2021 ice cream challenge show Ben & Jerry's Clash of the Cones. Molly is also a cookbook author and food blogger.
