As Vecna makes his way back to the screen, Spotify is letting you find your song to defeat the Stranger Things season 4 villain. The latest season of the hit Netflix series picked up eight months after season 3 and saw the Hawkins group of friends split up for the first time in their lives as Eleven and the Byers are struggling to adjust to living in California while Joyce learns of Hopper's survival and imprisonment in a Russian gulag. Meanwhile, the town of Hawkins comes under attack from a dangerous entity the group dubs Vecna that is killing seemingly random teenagers and has potential ties to Eleven's past.
First premiering in late May, Stranger Things season 4 has received largely positive reviews thus far with its first seven episodes, with praise directed towards its more horror-tinged approach and the performances of its cast, while the longer runtimes have divided some. Having arrived after a near-three-year hiatus, the series set a number of viewership records for Netflix, being watched over 287 million hours within its opening weekend and surpassing the record set by Bridgerton season 2. Stranger Things season 4's popularity expanded to a renewed interest in a number of '80s tunes and now audiences are getting an interesting new way to show their love for the series.
