Reclears continue as the guilds Racing for World First hunt down all of the sources of upgrades in the first few days of this reset. As of the time of recording this, Liquid, in the lead, have recleared up to the full 7/11 point and are working on more Heroic splits, while Echo and SK Pieces have ended the first day of their second reset at 6/11 and will need to take out the crab on their second day as Liquid did before reaching Anduin — how many more splits these guilds decide to do is also an open question! We're also welcoming Skyline to the week 1 Halondrus crew — achieving a stunning World 4th, CN 1st kill just hours before their servers went down at the end of their first reset.
They've also been using a new controversial strategy in Mythic plus to get their great vaults and items from that source of gear — they've been having their raiders start a keystone and then leave while the remaining 4 players complete the keystone (those 4 players having agreed to help out in this way in advance!). This has saved them a bunch of time and led to their item level on week 1 being higher than the other guilds, but it's a strategy that has led to some controversy, and there are conflicting reports about whether other guilds knew about it as an option or whether it was made clear to them that it was or wasn't allowed.
