The Lords of Dread have now fallen to Echo, who are going to bed in the lead for the first time in the race! Liquid are hot on their heels, with Lords of Dread at 2% as of the time of recording but the boss is now dead. The damage check on the Lords of Dread encounter was unbelievably tight for Echo, who solved the problem with a combination of very high damage classes, clean execution, Disc Priests and Holy Paladin healers, and finding ways to extend the fight well past the 9 minute enrage through mechanics like the Forgeborne Reveries effect from Bonesmith Heirmir.
Rygelon is now the last boss standing between The Jailer and the Race to World First, potentially calling into question the popular wisdom that has permeated the last few days that the race would be going to a third reset, which remains a strong possibility but is by no means guaranteed. The DPS check on the Rygelon encounter, combined with some brutally difficult HPS and mechanical checks, makes it seem to be a much harder encounter than Lords of Dread, though whether it stands up to Halondrus or Anduin in terms of total difficulty and pull count remains to be seen.
