Splatoon fans won’t have to worry about their arsenal shrinking in Splatoon 3. Nintendo has confirmed that all the same basic weapons from the previous two games will find their way into the coming sequel.
The news comes to us via the official Nintendo Twitter account, which “confirmed” that “all the basic weapons from previous games will be returning for #Splatoon3!" In the tweet, you can see Inklings and Octolings armed to the tentacle with the Splattershot Pro, Aerospray RG, .52 Gal, N-ZAP '85, Jet Squelcher, L-3 Nozzlenose, and the Sploosh-o-matic.

In the trailer announcing Splatoon 3, we got to see several new weapons will be added to the Splatoon arsenal, including a bow that fires three shots at once, a vacuum cleaner, and some sort of spider tank. There’s also a melee-focused paintbrush and grappling hook combo that turns your fighter into an ink-splattering ninja.
It's not just the weapons getting an upgrade. Nintendo seems to have aged-up Li'l Judd, with the cat now having a somewhat spikier and even more bulbous bod. Age gets the better of all of us eventually, and it looks like Judd is no different.
