While Splatoon 3 has kept a lot of what fans love from some turf battle maps to weapons, there is also plenty of new content such as lockers and tableturf battles. There are also more elements of customization, one of those being nametag called SplashTags. These Splashtags are seen by all players before and after matches in Turf Battles, Tableturf Battles, and Salmon Runs.
To customize a Splashtag in Splatoon 3, press X to open the menu and get to the Status tab. The edit button will be there, which allows the player to swap around their banners, titles, and badges. In terms of titles, players can edit to sections, an adjective, and a subject. For example, adjectives include «Inkless» or «Attention-Seeking,» and subjects include «Turf Warrior» and «Fashionista.» How to get different titles depends on the title. Some are unlocked through catalog level, while others are unlocked through story mode, the shell-out machine, and salmon run.
